To infinity and beyond….. (What is in the Pipeline or RoadMap)
We are currently investigating and testing a new system that runs through the website to enable us to send all the information from the website. This will include status updates on the orders – when they move into production etc. This will be a massive workload reduction for me rather than working with 4 different systems.
2024/2025 Financial Year : Q1 (July to September)
- The end of financial year saw one Quickbooks account to close off (shut down, vamoose, not just end of year reconciliation – A furball with Quickbooks as I changed subscription plan and I still do not understand why)
- Shires orders are being a bit cumbersome as Shires now run two warehouses. But we are working on a solution for this. In the meantime Riding Hat orders are taking a bit of work around.
2023/2024 Financial Year : Q4 (April to June)
- Following the big uplift in business we were left a bit flatfooted and needed to implement a few systems upgrades. One was a system that was independent of the website and allowed easy and regular contact with customers. I LOVED it!!! BUT the email deliverability rate (were the emails actually reaching you) dropped dramatically. Discussions with the Technonerds at the software IT department soon established that they could no lift the deliverability rate enough to satisfy me.
- We moved to a temporary external of the website system which offers excellent deliverability but sadly is quite cumbersome.
- Mattes took down the Configurator for upgrades which caused issues. Fortunately it is back
- Plus the usual Horse = Homicide/Suicide attempts and subsequent rehab.
